Rebecca Rei Hidalgo has spent more than three decades helping families navigate one of life’s most important milestones: finding a place to call home.

Originally from San Francisco, Rebecca moved to the Valley of the Sun more than 30 years ago and was first licensed to sell real estate in Arizona in 1993. She began her career working alongside her family representing Hispanic buyers purchasing HUD and VA repossessed homes, gaining early experience in distressed property transactions and government housing programs.

Rebecca graduated from Arizona State University in 1996 with a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from the College of Liberal Arts. Shortly after graduation, she transitioned into residential new construction sales, beginning a long-standing relationship with Arizona’s homebuilding community.

In 1998, Rebecca earned her Arizona Broker’s license and served as the Designated Broker for Sequoia Homes before joining Trend Homes of Arizona, where she worked from 2001 to 2007. During her tenure she rose to the position of General Sales Manager, overseeing new home communities, training sales teams, and managing builder operations. In 2005 she also began teaching Contract Law for New Home Sales at the Arizona School of Real Estate and Business, helping educate the next generation of real estate professionals.

When the housing market shifted dramatically in 2007, Rebecca returned to her early roots in foreclosure and distressed property solutions. She founded the Integrity All Stars Team, which became one of the region’s leading short sale and foreclosure-prevention teams. Between 2008 and 2013, Rebecca and her team successfully helped more than 400 families avoid foreclosure through short sales, guiding homeowners through one of the most challenging periods in modern real estate history.

Over the years, Rebecca continued to work closely with builders and developers, managing new home sales and training teams for boutique builders including Bellago Homes and the Bower Group while also representing buyers and sellers across all aspects of residential real estate.

Rebecca has also developed a special passion for helping seniors and their families navigate major life transitions. With more than three decades of experience guiding clients through complex housing decisions, she understands the emotional and practical considerations involved when older adults downsize, relocate, or transition into new living environments. To better serve this growing community, she completed additional education and earned the prestigious SRES® (Seniors Real Estate Specialist) designation, equipping her with specialized training to assist clients age 50+ with the unique financial, lifestyle, and housing considerations that accompany later-life moves.

Her expertise has been recognized across the industry. Rebecca has been featured on Channel 3 News and HGTV’s House Hunters and has received numerous professional awards throughout her career, including recognition by NAHREP as one of Arizona’s top Latina real estate professionals.

Beyond brokerage, Rebecca has expanded into construction and development. She holds a General Contractor’s License in Arkansas through Kismet Alternative Construction, reflecting her growing passion for sustainable building and helping clients improve, renovate, and build homes that better serve their families and communities.

Today, Rebecca leads The Hidalgo Real Estate Group, where her mission has evolved beyond simply selling homes. After more than three decades in the industry, she is focused on housing advocacy, sustainable building, and helping people find stability, dignity, and opportunity through homeownership.

Her work continues to support homeowners in transition, first-time buyers, seniors navigating major life changes, and communities in need of thoughtful housing solutions.

Rebecca’s philosophy is simple:

A home is more than a transaction.
It is where lives are rebuilt, families grow, and gratitude takes root.

Outside of real estate, Rebecca enjoys traveling, creative projects, and spending time with her two daughters, friends, and extended family.
