Moving to Arizona

Choose your Arizona.
Then choose the address.

There is no single Arizona lifestyle. The Valley, foothills, acreage, golf communities and Rim Country ask completely different things of everyday life.

Start with Tuesday

Build the ordinary week before the house-hunting weekend.

Work, school, family, healthcare, airport trips, hobbies and the places you will use repeatedly create a better map than a list of popular ZIP codes.

The goal is not to find the most talked-about city. It is to eliminate the versions of Arizona that make your normal life harder.

The Valley changes fast

Gilbert is not Chandler. Mesa is not Gold Canyon.

Commutes, lot patterns, housing age, master-planned structure, golf, desert access and everyday density can change dramatically within a relatively short drive.

The desert is part of the property.

Orientation, shade, pools, landscaping, HVAC, roof condition, water systems and utility use matter here in a way they may not where you live now.

A relocation search should account for the house through an Arizona summer, not only the way it photographs during a showing.

And then there is the other Arizona

Elevation changes the whole ownership conversation.

Payson, Pine and Strawberry bring winter weather, wells and septic in some areas, wildfire considerations, different construction questions and a completely different daily rhythm from the Valley.

Plan the trip around decisions, not showings.

Bring Rebecca the life you are trying to build, the timing you are working with and the parts of Arizona already on your radar. Then narrow the map before filling the calendar with houses.
